EFMI Special Topic Conference, Croatia
CHIRAD members Graham Wright and Helen Betts are this week at the EFMI (www.efmi.org) 2007 STC Special Topic Conference on the Brijuni Islands, Croatia (www.hdmi.hr/stc2007/). No reports as yet, but hopefully a post hoc report can be posted.
This blog will be a vehicle for news about CHIRAD and its activities, and for CHIRAD Fellows and Members to share their views about a range of issues. We will also post items of interest that we find on other blogs, news services, etc.
CHIRAD is the Centre for Health Informatics Research and Development.
Our aim is to provide an environment for the development of Health Informatics as an academic subject. CHIRAD is a company limited by guarantee that is a non-for-profit organisation. It is probably the first virtual R&D centre for Health Informatics.
CHIRAD is proud to be an Academic Institutional member of IMIA, the International Medical Informatics Association (www.imia.org), and is the first Institutional member of EFMI, the European Federation for Medical Informatics (www.efmi.org )

Greeting from the EFMI Council Meeting. It appears that the EFMI OS report is on the EFMI website as the new OS web page,,,rather than its report....
Big debate about having an event in the year of Medinfo as some are very Europe focused and don't support IMIA...
Helen is doing a full report and hopefuly will post that later.
